Stark Varg SM and EX: accessories that actually fit
The first thing you notice on a Stark Varg is the wide stock tail. The next thing you wonder is what breaks first if the bike tips over. Here you can see which parts we have for the EX and SM, what they cost and what to watch for when fitting them. Prices as of November 2026.
The tail: folding plate holder
The folding plate holder for the Stark Varg (CHF 74.95) replaces the stock bracket.
- Fitting: You trim the stock tail using the cutting template in the box. There is no soldering or rewiring.
- Electrics: You keep your indicators, tail light and plate light exactly as they are.
- Folding: The holder clicks in place with a pin in both positions. It is flexible and gives way in scrapes and wheelies.
- Colour: your choice.
On the road, the plate must be in the correct position. What that means exactly is in our post Plate holders on motorcycles.
Crash protection
| Part | Price | What it protects |
|---|---|---|
| Axle sliders Stark Varg | CHF 49.90 | axle, swingarm and axle blocks |
| Bar ends (2 pieces) | CHF 14.95 | handlebar and grips |
You choose the axle slider thread for front and rear, M8 or M10. They need a hollow axle. The threaded rod is an option for CHF 14.95. It is about 40 cm long, and you cut it to length with a hand saw.
For the road
To replace the stock mirrors, bolt the round mirrors (2 pieces, CHF 29.95) directly to the handlebar. You don't need a mirror mount on the bike, and they are E-approved.
If you are missing a rear reflector, the E-approved reflector (CHF 12.95) comes in a screw-on or stick-on version.
Small parts
- GPS tracker with protective case (CHF 19.95): location through Apple Find My or Google Find My Device, battery lasts up to 12 months.
- Spoke covers (72 pieces, CHF 9.90): enough for both wheels, colour of your choice, can be cut to length.
- Valve caps (CHF 5.90): colour of your choice.
Good to know
Whether a conversion is allowed on your vehicle, or has to be inspected, depends on your country and your vehicle. Check this before fitting. For Switzerland, the main points are in our post Supermoto conversion in Switzerland.
